12 DIYs of Christmas: Add some Holiday Cheer to your Small Apartment or Living Space with these Festive DIY projects for a Beautiful Bohemian Christmas

Featured Blogger: free my gypsie soul

It’s that time of year again! How does it always sneak up so fast?! And why do we always decide to move house right before it?! We’re officially crazy… but Christmas is a great excuse for DIY craft projects and glitter glue …as if I ever needed one?!

This Christmas, after moving back into Mum’s to save money for our narrowboat, we just wont have the space for the big 6 foot Norwegian Spruce Christmas tree we rocked in the Creepy cottage or Townhouse, so I have been looking for some inspiration for alternative festive decorations and projects that don’t eat up your living space. And there are some lovely ways to add a little festive cheer to even the smallest spaces. Bonus, if you don’t live in shoebox like we do at the mo and have a large home, even better.. you can just make even more of them!

Here are some of my absolute favourite festive DIYs for a beautiful Bohemian Christmas with links to the original tutorials.

The bright colours of these luxurious little pom pom garlands add instant festive cheer and they are so quick & easy to make. Especially if you use the hand wrap method, see a lovely clear tutorial of that by danamadeit by clicking here…. or for making them in bulk, this genius tutorial by Flax & Twine here . That Christmas tree made from branches would also be a great and relatively simple DIY project.
