We’ve turned the page and begun to write “-16” on the top corners of our papers! We’ve got your best and brightest classes in Chicago this season to keep you feeling your best and brightest selves:
1.) Hour Long Boxing Clinic 101
This workshop will help you shake off the dust from 2015! Wake up and learn to fight in style– and take zero B.S. this year.
Explore and move through the space around you learning Parkour; a holistic training discipline using movement. Try this class from Parkour Ways for a better understanding of what Parkour is (or what it is supposed to be!)
NEW: KIDS CLASS! Dabble Kids has officially launched! Take your kids to a Taekwondo class where they will develop flexibility, concentration, motor-skills! This class will be taught at the HMD Academy Chicago, the very best! Check out more of our classes here.
Nothing says winter in Chi-City like learning to make your own beer! Check out Brew & Grow‘s awesome class that will give you the skills to brew, taste, and extract your own beer at home. Good times included.
5.) MLK Jr. Day Beatbox Train & Architecture Tour
KIDS & FAMILY EVENT!! This is a celebration of MLK Day and National Mentoring Month– Chicago style! Meet at Open Books for a fun welcome, then hop on the EL for a tour with the Chicago Architecture Foundation. The tour will be accompanied by Yuri Lane, Chicago’s own Beatbox Superstar! This is a special event not to be missed!
NEW: KIDS WORKSHOP! Join Jennifer Norback Fine Art as they host a series of children’s workshops including, “When Worlds Collide Fantasy Portrait Workshop.” Kids will have the chance to create an art portrait of their own! This will be a day long event with a light lunch included.
7.) Learn to Make Homemade Pasta
Join Joseph of Paired Wine Co. as you learn to make pasta from scratch! Wine will be available for pairing with pastas, bring friends and family or else come and meet someone new! Awesome spot with an awesome environment for tasting delicious things!
